Our Vision

Our vision for an improved Rickenbacker Marina will create a state-of-the-art marina on Biscayne Bay, complete with new public spaces, automated dry storage for boaters, new restaurants, and expanded access to the waterfront for the community.

Public Access

Public Access

A public baywalk will expand the community’s access to the waterfront.

A smaller boat storage footprint and decreased commercial density will leave more room for open green space as well as open up access and the view corridor to Biscayne Bay

New public spaces will be equipped to host outdoor community events, such a farmer’s markets and concerts.

Recreation

Recreation

An indoor automated dry rack facility will accommodate 700 boats.

Our existing wet slips will be enlarged, enabling the marina to meet mounting market demand for larger vessels.

Concrete floating piers for vessels up to 120-feet.

Staging areas for cyclists and pedestrians will create new amenities in one of Miami-Dade’s top recreational zones.

Community

Community

Our ecofriendly development will include LEED certified building, solar power, and sustainable materials.

A focus on conservation will preserve the natural shoreline, restore Virginia Key’s mangrove ecosystem, and include the planting of native shade trees.

Environmental education and tours.

Two restaurants – both open to the public – will introduce new gathering places for the community, offering casual dining options minutes from downtown Miami, Key Biscayne and Coconut Grove.
